2005 Honda Rebel 250
2005 Honda Rebel 250 – Candy Orange
If you’re just getting started, or if you’re looking for effective and reliable low-cost transportation or you just like smaller cc bike…I dunno maybe you’re only 5’2…then the Honda Rebel might be exactly what you’ve been looking for. The Rebel 250 or CMX250, aimed to do two things: get you there and get you back in relative style and comfort. With exceptional performance and handling for its class backed by a rock-solid legacy of Honda reliability, this could just be the small cruiser for you.
The Rebel was originally designed and introduced to the market for the young rider of the mid-’80s, the MTV generation, and snatched up by riders worldwide. It’s built off the pedigree of verticle-twin engine designs which date back to the 1960s. The teardrop tank, classic lines, swept-back bars, braced rear fender, saddle/pillion seat combo, all allude to the larger standard cruiser in its presentation. Mix these classic features with the precision of modern engineering and easy riding characteristics and you end up with a capable cruiser for nearly every rider. T
The 234cc parallel twin runs smoothly at all speeds. Around town, the engine is revy and capable. The light frame and smaller dimensions make handling nimble and accurate. On the highway, keeping up with traffic is surprisingly worry free with speeds of 65-70 mph achieved easily. If appropriate seat height is on your list of requirements, measuring at 26.6 inches, the Rebel is one of the lowest available seat height bikes on the road. Fuel mileage checks in at around 70mpg with the 2.6 gallon tank netting the average rider a range of about 170 miles. The petite rider will also benefit from a dry weight of just 306 lbs.
Our Rebel features a set of leather bags. There is a dent on the top of the tank on the right-hand side which does not effect fuel delivery.
