2002 Aprilia Tuono
Aprilias jab at the naked bike market has brought to Tiger this amazingly overbuilt road racer. Clad in kevlar and carbon fibre, the Tuono is a carved down and nimble flying ace. The 998cc 60 degree V twin cranks out a solid 130 bhp at 9500 rpm, propelling it to a top speed of over 155mph. The aluminum chassis , swing arm, and front end are borrowed from the RSV Mille R which means it’s packing a lot of race-bred tech from 43mm upside down Ohlins forks with titanium nitride coating, to an adjustable steering damper. Four pot, four piston Brembos will do for the grabby bits.
