EPISODE 2: Tires and Rubbers
Flat tires, dry rotted tires, old useless rubber…none of it leads to a healthy situation. Like most STD’s these situations are avoidable and preventable with the proper knowledge and care. In Episode 2 we talk a little bit about the types of tire conditions you might find on your bike or scooter and how to spot these situations before they become an issue. Keeping your tires in good shape is probably the most important thing you can do for you and your bike outside of wearing the appropriate safety gear. A deflated or improperly worn tire can lead to poor handling and unsafe riding, or worse, cause a wreck. That means potential injury and time in the shop. PMS (parked motorcycle syndrome) is no laughing matter.
Black and round though they may be, a worn old rubber is just that. Protect yourself and your partner. Stay safe. Ride safe. Always use protection.
